How to delete your account

You can delete your XploreR account in any of these ways:

• On this website: sign in to your account settings and choose Delete Account. You do not need the app installed.
• In the app: open Settings → Account & Privacy → Delete Account.
• By email: if you can no longer sign in, email privacy@xplorer-app.com from the email address on the account and we will delete it for you within 30 days.

What is deleted

Deletion takes effect immediately: every session is signed out, and your email address and credentials are removed right away, so the address can be used to sign up again. The remaining data is purged in the background, typically within minutes:

• Your profile (name, email, photo, bio, phone, location)
• Quest attempts, completions, and scores
• GPS location history
• Photos taken during gameplay
• Reviews you wrote, and reports you filed
• Registered devices and their tracking data
• Quests, missions, and points of interest you created, including their invite links, the access you gave others, and every image or file you uploaded for them
• Control-room sessions you ran and the messages sent in them
• AI quest-generation runs you started
• Users you blocked, and blocks others placed on you

What is retained

Nothing that identifies you. What remains belongs to other people:

• Other players’ own gameplay records and reviews, including their attempts at quests you created. Those records keep their scores but lose your quest’s title and cover image.
• Copies of your public quests that other creators made. A copy belongs to the creator who made it, with its own copies of the images.
• Records kept by the services we use, such as email-delivery logs, for as long as their retention periods require.
